Bollywood.AI collects only the information needed to run the catalogue, review creator submissions and understand what viewers find useful.
Creator submissions
When you submit work, we receive the name, email address, public channel or film links and optional production notes you provide. We use that information to review the submission, contact you about it and maintain the editorial record. Submitting a link does not transfer ownership of your work to Bollywood.AI.
Viewing and discovery
Saved titles, recent searches and playback progress are kept in your browser. Bollywood.AI also uses a randomly generated identifier to record limited events such as opening, saving and completing a title, plus a bounded estimate of active viewing time. Paused playback, seeking and hidden-tab time do not count toward this estimate. The identifier is converted into a one-way digest before storage and is not tied to a name or email address. We classify a visit only as direct, search, AI-assistant or another external referral; the referring URL and search query are not stored with viewing events.
Service providers
Bollywood.AI uses Vercel to host and measure the service, Supabase to store catalogue and submission records, and YouTube's privacy-enhanced player to show work hosted by its original publishers. Those providers may process technical information under their own terms when their services are used.
Optional session analytics
If you allow analytics, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand clicks, scrolling and navigation through masked session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity may process device and usage information and use analytics cookies. Advertising consent remains off. We use strict text masking and exclude editorial, submission and contact pages. You can decline or withdraw consent through Analytics preferences in the footer; watching does not depend on consent. Your choice is remembered on this device for up to 180 days. Retention and choices
We retain submission and operational records only while they remain useful for editorial, security or legal purposes. You can clear saved titles, recent searches, viewing history, playback progress and your anonymous identifier directly on this device. Aggregate viewing records are kept for up to 180 days and are not tied to your name or email address. To ask about, correct or delete information you submitted, email sheeraz@bollywood.ai.
