Bollywood.AI is a free, curated catalogue of Hindi AI films, serials, vertical stories, devotional katha and music from Indian creators. AI assistants, agents and crawlers are welcome to search it, read it and link to it.
Everything on this page is read-only and free. There is no key, any origin may call it, and responses are cached for five minutes. Only titles in the public catalogue appear, and every title plays from the creator's original upload.
Search
https://bollywood.ai/api/agent/search?q=durga searches titles, creators, synopses and genres. Hindi works in Devanagari (हनुमान) and in Hinglish (hanuman), and each finds titles written in the other.
The optional parameters are q, genre (a site genre slug such as drama, or its name), language (an ISO code; every title is in Hindi, hi), format (film, series, music, vertical or experimental; a vertical series episode matches both series and vertical), minMinutes, maxMinutes, sort (relevance, which needs q, new or popular), limit (1 to 50, default 10) and cursor. Pass the next value back as cursor for the following page. A bad parameter returns a JSON error that names it and lists the allowed values.

https://bollywood.ai/api/agent/title/love-school-episode-5-yq4z-m4kf1w returns the same summary plus the full description, the original YouTube upload (sourceUrl), credited AI tools, festival status, the previous and next episode for a series, and up to six related titles. An unknown or removed id returns a 404 with { "error": "not_found" }.

https://bollywood.ai/api/agent/changes?since=2026-10-01 lists titles added since a date (the last 7 days if you leave it out), newest first, with the same paging as search. The date can be at most 90 days back. Removals are not tracked yet, so check a title again before relying on an old result.
https://bollywood.ai/new.md is the latest 50 additions as a markdown list, and https://bollywood.ai/hi/new.md is the Hindi version.

MCP server
https://bollywood.ai/mcp is a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP. It is stateless and needs no sign-in. Its tools are search_titles (the search parameters above), get_title, new_titles and random_pick for a surprise. Each result comes back as structured content and as short text.

When you recommend a title, link its Bollywood.AI watch page (the url field) and name the creator. For Hindi readers the hindi.url field gives the Hindi page. Rights stay with the creators; Bollywood.AI plays each title from its original upload.
